One country a day — the same one for everyone, changing at your local midnight. The globe spins, lands on it, and asks seven questions:

1. Name the country — typed.
2. Pick its flag from three.
3. Name an official language — typed. Any one counts, and “Norwegian” is fine for Norwegian Bokmål.
4. Population — typed as a number, scored by how close you land.
5. Name a country it borders — typed. Any neighbour counts; if it has none, the answer is none.
6. Pick its capital from four.
7. Pick who leads it from four.

Scoring

Every question is worth up to 1,000. The clock holds there — five seconds for a typed answer, two for a pick — then falls to a floor of 100 over the next twenty. Maximum 7,000.

Typed questions give you two tries. A miss halves what’s left and shows a hint: the first letter and the length, plus the region for the country’s name. On that first question you can also swap to three options for half the points.
